Our History
Sound Haven Studios was founded in 2010 by Marcus Bellweather, a seasoned audio engineer with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. Marcus envisioned a recording studio that would not only provide top-notch technical facilities but also foster a supportive and creative environment for artists of all genres. Starting with a modest setup in a small warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, Sound Haven Studios quickly gained a reputation for its exceptional sound quality and personalized service. Word of mouth spread rapidly within the local music community, and the studio soon became a favorite among independent artists, bands, and voice-over professionals.
In 2015, Sound Haven Studios expanded its operations and relocated to a larger, state-of-the-art facility in the Arts District of Los Angeles. The new studio featured a spacious live room, a comfortable control room equipped with a vintage Neve console, and a variety of high-end microphones and outboard gear. This expansion allowed Sound Haven Studios to offer a wider range of services, including recording, mixing, mastering, and voice-over production. The studio also began hosting workshops, seminars, and networking events to support the local music community.

Mastering Engineer
Ethan is a mastering engineer with a passion for sonic perfection. He uses a state-of-the-art mastering suite to optimize music for playback on all platforms, ensuring that it sounds its best on any playback system. He holds a degree in acoustics from UCLA.
